Smart Cities Group CEO statement

Our preliminary analysis indicates the potential influence of a formal propaganda campaign meant to serve as the catalyst for expanded conflict in Ukraine. While all the actors and their motivations remain unclear, we operate under the assumption that the driver is largely financial and that the actor’s involvement presents an unacceptable additional level of risk associated with multi-generational destabilization in the region, the potential for expanded conflict across NATO nations and the interconnected world in which we live.

The Smart Cities Group consortium includes politically neutral academic institutions, research facilities, data scientists, and business organizations with a focus on smarter management and monitoring of critical infrastructure as well as the usage of data to make the world safer, healthier, and more prosperous.

The Smart Cities Group, with support from our Smart City Consortium members in Ukraine, is monitoring critical infrastructure sectors and analyzing data we know to be critical to making incident command decisions during a crisis. Decidedly pro-NATO, we operate from a politically neutral position, observing relevant treaties and international law.
